Child's World Montessori School
Special Activities
Whether it's taking one of our many field trips to an apple orchard to
discover the importance of bees, or a pumpkin patch to discover how
pumpkins are grown, at Child's World Montessori School we believe
in educating the whole child, just as Maria Montessori did when the
Montessori concept of education was first created.
Even something as simple as making green eggs and ham in honor of Dr. Seuss's birthday, or making home-made ice cream or yogurt from the beginning with our ice cream making machine are treated as opportunities for learning at our school.
In our way of thinking, academics never start and stop with books, letters, numbers, pencils and a piece of paper, they are simply another opportunity to have some fun and discover something new while learning!
